       Yoga can be defined as “union” and is an ancient practice of connecting mind, body, heart and spirit. Practiced for thousands of years and originating in India it has been scientifically proven to be effective in treating and preventing many ailments of the self. Today, yoga is very popular in a group class format filling health clubs and studios across the world. Unfortunately, it can be challenging for a teacher to focus the benefits of yoga to every person and situation in a group setting.

This is where private instruction has many benefits.

       In a private or a small group, the yoga teacher can plan the class session around the needs and wants of the individual.

If any of the following statements resonate with you then a private or small group yoga session may be the right choice for you :

  • This is my first experience with yoga and I am curious what to expect.

  • I have been wanting to take a group class but would like to get more insight and a little private practice in first.

  • I have been taking group classes for a while but would like to deepen my practice and/or increase my understanding of a certain pose or a particular style of yoga.

  • There is a particular body part or area of the body I would like to focus more on stretching and/or strengthening.

  • I am not that comfortable in a group setting and would rather practice with private instruction or perhaps with my friend(s) and/or family.

       Whatever your reason for seeking private instruction, Jason is here to assist you with your needs.

       We also offer Yoga sessions for Kids, Seniors, Groups, Corporations, Private Events, and Parties. Several different packages are available.

       Upon request, Jason will add Reiki energy into your session during meditation and relaxation. Rei (universal) Ki (life force energy) is a Japanese art of natural healing that activates, balances and increases the life force within us by using our own natural ability to take in positive energies that restore the bodies natural ability to heal itself. It is also used for relaxation and stress reduction. It is a safe and natural healing art providing many benefits for the body, mind, heart and spirit.
